American Health Care Software  has been developing software products since 1977  for the Continuum of Care health care industry;  including long term care nursing facilities, elder apartments and retirement communities, home health care agencies,  outpatient clinics, and third party HMO environments.  Our Harmony software suites include include clinical, financial and administrative applications.

American was purchased on June 28, 1990.  At that time, the customer base was located in thirty States. Between 1990 and today, our coverage has grown to forty-eight states. Our loyal customer base represents 200+ corporate customers, representing approximately 1,250 facility or home health locations.  These locations range in size from 30 beds to over 1,000 beds at a single location.

In the first three months after purchase, our technical team developed the Minimum Data Set application to meet Federal requirements put into place in October 1990-which was no small feat.  As time and our company progressed, this grew into state specific MDS applications in addition to the MDS Version 2.0.  Our Harmony applications now blend together clinical care and financial reimbursement into one integrated patient record.
