American Health Care Software, in addition to the software information system products and services we provide to clients, additionally provides services in the area of consulting, financial, and management services. As a professional firm, providing products, services and support to our clients, which includes being entrusted with sensitive information in the course of conducting our business, we respect the privacy of our clients and are committed to treating customer information responsibly. In the ordinary course of business, we collect, retain and use information about you to provide products, product maintenance, and administer services to your organization.   • Information about your transactions with us, or our affiliate partnerships

All client records are confidential, and we do not disclose any nonpublic personal information obtained in the course of our practice except as required or permitted by law. Permitted disclosures include, for instance, providing information to our employees and, in limited situations, to unrelated third parties who need to know that information to assist us in providing services to you. In all such situations, we stress the confidential nature of information being shared and prior to disclosure, we notify an authorized representative of your organization, or as a result of the type of services we are engaged in providing for your organization, such as service bureau, you are aware of the disclosure.

Security of your Information  

We have implemented strict procedures and policy guidelines to safeguard the privacy of your nonpublic personal information from unauthorized use or improper access. These guidelines include implementation of physical, electronic and procedurals safeguards that comply with Federal Standards. We will permit only authorized employees, who are trained in the proper handling of customer information, to have access to that information in order to provide you with quality products and superior services. All of our operation and data processing systems are maintained in a secure environment that protects your account information from being accessed by third parties.

Employee Training and Access to Information  

Access to customer information is authorized for business purposes only. Each and every member of American's professional team has acknowledged and signed a statement of confidentiality, which is retained within their personnel record. This document covers the confidential nonpublic information that is contained in our services and support to our clients. Employees who have access to customer information are required to protect it and keep it confidential. Employees who violate this policy will be subject to our disciplinary policies and procedures.

Our information-sharing Practices  

We restrict the types of information about you that we share and the types of entities with who we share it. The primary reason for sharing information about you is to provide you with more convenience and efficiency in transactions with us and to give you more choices and options about our services and products, for example leasing with IBM Global financial if we are making arrangements for financing. The type of information we collect varies according to the products or services you contract from us.

Sharing of Health Information  

We will not share internally, or externally personally identifiable health information about you or your clients for any purpose other than the conducting or our business, or as disclosed to you when the information is collected.
