Administrator gives American's Census, Billing, and Receivables Software high marks.

Marty Goetz is the Administrator of the River Garden/Wolfson Health and Aging Center in Jacksonville, Florida. His 180 bed skilled nursing facility has had several deficiency-free federal and state licensure surveys which he credits to the committed partnership between American and River Garden. Mr. Goetz, realizing the tremendous investment American has made in new development, took the initiative to visit our new corporate offices and review the product line about to be released.

Mr. Goetz, along with our software developers, Melissa Carter and Bill Fitzgerald, ran the new software developed for census, billing and receivables from admission right up through billing.

The staff here at American enjoyed showing Mr. Goetz our corporate headquarters. After returning to River Garden, Marty wrote a letter commending American on its new development strategies. He stated, "Please let the staff know how very much we appreciate their efforts at delivering a software product that has the potential to take us all well into the next decade."

American President and CEO, Marcia DeRosia, extends an open invitation to any of you, our customers, to come and visit our corporate offices and review the new product. Your input is very welcome. We're quite sure you will be as pleased as Marty Goetz is with our new product and we are always ready to listen to your needs and improve our product to meet those needs.

American's corporate headquarters is located in South Burlington, Vermont, within a few blocks of beautiful Lake Champlain. After you've visited us and reviewed our products, you might want to enjoy some of our famous tourist attractions, such as: The Trapp Family Lodge, Corporate Headquarters of Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream, The Vermont Teddy Bear Company and the Stowe Ski Area.

Dear Marcia:

I wanted to write to tell you how great our bills came out this month. Also, to tell you a little stunt I did to it.

I took a Private pay patient that was on Medicare for a small portion of the month with a supplement insurance for 10 days. I also took that same scenario and switched it to a Medicaid in mid-stream for co-pay to be done, as well as, a Medicaid and this was retro'd back to November of 1998. The system worked like a champ! It walked through it, it did exactly what I told it to do. It picked up income which is the PIP for the patient correctly (which I call Patient Responsibility) and it walked through and did exactly what it was supposed to.

I verified the guarantor bill and it's to the penny of what is owed; I verified the Medicaid portion and it's where it's supposed to be; and I verified the co-insurance which comes from the supplemental insurance for the 10 days. I just had to let you know it was excellent and every thing went great on our billing this month and I say - thank you.

Very truly yours,

RIVER GARDEN HEBREW HOME FOR THE AGED

 Shirley
